Hilly position of L'antico forziere favours pleasant walks all along the
surrounding valley through woods, ancient farmhouses and immense expanse
of wheat and other products linked to Umbria’s tradition. To spend
beautiful open-air days our guests can hire (upon reservation) mountain
bikes used to cover the most beautiful tracks of Umbria’s country
or also to visit panoramic foreshortenings and the most representative historical
monuments of our towns. It’s also possible to request the presence
of a guide for the whole excursion.
Close to the country house there is the possibility to do horse-rides among
the hills or to visit local riding-grounds.
If you love strong emotions you can, in Valnerina, raft along the torrents
running through our mountains.
Close to Terni, city of S.Valentino, Marmore’s Falls show themselves
and their majesty enhancing beauty of natural landscape, and Trasimeno Lake,
in Perugia's province, offers itself as touristic destination where you
can spend pleasant days on its characteristic islands.
